BHVR, you are very generous with promo's but we could improve a wee bit, maybe?

BHVR,

You give away DLC's all the time, and give out free codes. Generous PR team. However, I think you could do a wee bit of a better job with the DLC promotions and giveaways. I am specifically referring to Steelseries.

Steelseries had 1,000 keys to giveaway on release day, March 8...  full game keys for Dead by Daylight, a random DLC key, or the new Sadako Rising DLC key, to give out for Sadako Rising promo on release day....

However, as always happens, some people just abused the website process and got like 20 keys each... some got 5 or 10, etc... but many people abused it, and then they turn around and sell the giveaway keys or trade the giveaway keys. I saw one person on a Steam trading site that was selling/trading -4- copies of DBD, -3- copies of Sadako Rising DLC, and about 10+ other keys like Cursed Legacy DLC.....  people abuse those giveaways!  


I think more should be done to ensure more real users get them. Places like Steelseries do a poor job of handing them out. For example, one idea.... you could always partner with companies like Intel and have them include your promo keys to customers who buy their many products, or let them give away codes through their Intel Gaming site that already does giveaways...

    they put the game out for free on epic for a while, not sure if u heard about that

    bad idea because all it did rlly was help cheaters
