They probably count as a tie, similar to hatch escapes, it doesn't really prove anything other than you got lucky.
Do survivor DCs count as kills for killer MMR? If so, then there should be an equivalent after at least 1 DC in my opinion. I know they count as kills for BP gains, so it should.
