What to Expect for the RINGU Chapter

It has been recently confirmed that the next chapter in DBD is a collaboration with the original novel, Ringu. It is expected to release sometime during march, so I quickly read the novel to know what to expect! Of course, I decided to share this prior-knowledge with you guys, too!
After reading the novel, I found out that the novel is way different than the movies. So, don't expect anything similar from the movies. Such as the same physical appearance of The Ring in the movies. I doubt that the killer would even be named The Ring, too. In the book, the main shadow isn't even a physical being, instead being a curse.
SURVIVOR
One thing is for sure, I am almost certain that the next survivor will be **Kazuyuki Asawaka**. Otherwise known as Asawaka for short. Asawaka is a journalist for a newspaper company which has recently stumbled upon the disappearance of 4 teenagers that have linked deaths, all resulting in heart failure. After tracing their last known location to a lodge resort, he watches a videotape which passes the curse along to him.
As this is a book, there is no physical appearance described other than a middle-aged news reporter that is a male. However, there may be other skins for the 4 other teenagers that passed away from the curse, too. However, this is very unlikely due to some of them being female.
KILLER
As said before, the killer is out of the blue. In the novel, there is not a physical appearance of 'The Ring'. In fact, the killer will probably be the curse itself. Possibly even named 'The Curse'. In the book, this curse shapeshifts between different realities and can appear as anything. One description we get from a victim is a dark haunting figure standing behind them.
As this may be another 'stalking' killer that could damage a survivor while looking at them in a range, I doubt it due to the other 2 stalking killers.
However, it is almost confirmed that the power will include wells from the sneak peak. I assume that this will be a power similar to Demogorgon which can transverse between different wells in the map. However, it could also play a bigger role. I doubt this would be the case, but there could be a chance of the sewers being a physical place where survivors can enter too. But, I assume they are saving this mechanic for whenever or if ever they get the IT license for Pennywise.
MAP
Just like the survivor, I'm pretty much positive that the map will be named 'Hakone Pacific Land'. This is a resort in the woods that contain lodges and a receptionist area. I expect there will be multiple side buildings which will be the different lodges/cabins while the main building will be the receptionist area. This receptionist area will include a front desk, a restaurant and a tennis court.
I'm having a hard time imagining this all in a DBD layout, but I expect something similar to this will come. After all, it says inspired by, not based off.
