Cheating epidemic in DBD

10% of players who play DBD use cheats of some kind.

That’s a huge number of players. What’s being done about this? I’ve seen the question asked in the Q&A sessions and it gets the most likes out of any other questions, but the the Devs appear to ignore it.


So is that behavior’s stance? Ignore it?

My grandfather had cancer. He ignored it, didn’t tell anyone. He’s dead now.

    This. These are the worst kind of cheaters. At least with the blatant ones, you know not to even bother trying to play. When you run into a killer who is already in Tier III Bloodlust at the start of the match, and you can’t even loop him once- you start second guessing yourself & keep playing. By your third hook you realize something was really off with him, but by then it’s too late.
