Possible Glyph Caretaker bug?

Moiren

I was on a Coldwind map and was able to see the rift when I started. Normally you have to go looking for one, and the other end didn't show up in the basement before I got close. Also after I completed it and I heard a chime and it was glowing I still kept the egg in my hand.
