There's no way it'd be that fast- license deals take months to even conclude, and then the actual design and development of the content has to start, which takes another few months, and then it's scheduled for release at the end of all of that.
It is possible they could start that process now that the rights battle is over, though!
I am pretty sure since the devs KNOW we want jason and THEY want jason too, I am sure they maybe already had few discussions about what he would be about to do if he would get into the game, so I am pretty sure there's already a prototype in some doccuments about him already, I am sure they already know what to work on if the deal is made.
Right, but they still have to make the deal, which would be a series of talks over the course of a few months, and then they actually have to code and test that prototype, make any changes that are necessary, maybe update it for the current state of the game...
It's still going to take a long time if they ever do actually get the license.
I recall one of the devs saying that they plan out chapters a year or so in advance. So unless they already started work in a F13 chapter before the lawsuit wrapped up, it might be a while yet. If it comes at all, that is.
