New Monitor: what to chose

Hi folks, my 27" Monitor just broke down and i need a new one. I dont want to spent too much on it, and i chose to go up to a 32", because i am working with several applications side by side usually.

So, i have a question regarding dbd: Is a VA-Panel viable, or has it to be an IPS? I dont use the monitor only for gaming, but working and movies as well.

Also, curved or flat?

Any input or experiences?
