Match Results (if results were films)
Often, I've thought of the trials as enacting my own slasher movies and as with normal with my way of coming up with ideas, this came to me on the bog. How would the results look, if they were compared to films? Jist wished to share:
0K - "Scooby Doo". Yup, the killer has basically become the guy in costume, unable to enact what they wanted. The Scooby gang had their number, and throughout it all it was destined for a devastating, predictable victory as everyone lives and a corny joke is shared as the following laughter takes us to the credits.
1k - "Cape Fear" (original version). Only 1 person dies in the original, but it's enough to anger the others, giving them resolve to defeat the killer. The dead survivor can also be compared to the horrible death of the pet dog, so although 3 get out, there is that bittersweet feeling someone was lost.
2k - "Dale & Tucker vs. Evil". This is where some die and some don't, but how it ended up like this would have been both an adventure and most likely with some comedy. Most games where 2 survived somehow seem to have their fair share chaos and funny moments. But it was always unpredictable, and often fun.
3k - "Alien". The insurmountable killer, crushing all in its path, but the final boy/girl finds the escape, often after a lot of turmoil. However it's seen, the killer was formidable and seemed near-undefeatable, but resolve, tenacity and determination gets one out alive.
4k - "The Texas Chainsaw Massacre: The Beginning". It's that movie where there's no happy ending. No hope. No chance. Whatever the survivors do, the odds were stacked against them from the start. Even if the final girl almost escaped, the killer had never really lost them. Basically, a slaughter.
Anyway, I just thought I'd share this, and maybe it may give a way of looking at the trials not necessarily been compared to before. Any other choices or ideas you'd prefer?
