Character Suggestion
i am interested in knowing what your thoughts would be on adding a character with a more ambiguous past and identity -- be it survivor or killer -- that would have a more gender-neutral appearance, with their perks and lore depicting a very powerful, even obsessive desire for freedom - always doing only and only what they think is right or best or what they want and never backing down or letting themselves pushed around, more often than not pushing forward no matter the situation and advantage to the point this desire for freedom goes even above their basic survival instincts and their usual response in a fight or flight situation is fight, and on top of that they are a very emotional being driven by empathy and a pure hatred towards things like the high and mighty type of arrogance, towards discrimination as a whole and towards things like unjustified cruelty; with the last info about them being that despite all of that they always try to be rational and find a logical explanation behind EVERYTHING
with hints behind why they are like that being them having a unpleasant past where they were manipulated a few times and went through a lot of discrimination and bullying
also said character despite their rationality being willing to fight back due to their desire for freedom and doing the right thing even if it seems foolish
i don't mind how this info is incorporated regarding perks, lore, name and appearance (and power if they will be a killer); i am fine with any as long as these traits are included, and i am mostly interested on what are your thoughts in general; or how do you think this character would be like in lore at least even if they are not added, considering that they can be quite rebellious and if needed they will fight until the very last breath they take

To be honest I don't care about the lore or backstory of any of the characters, DBD isn't exactly story driven is it, you could make up your own history for any of the characters and it would have zero impact on how the game is played.
For me the main thing is how they look and how they play.
yeah, it's just each of the characters has a cannon lore and some perks fitting to what they are like; and... no character seems to be fitting or close to what i am looking for. additionally there aren't really any characters that look more.. gender neutral yet slightly feminine without being a female
The devs at least confirmed they are working on a character that is part of the LGBTQ+ community and they are working with GaymerX on this to avoid unintentionally creating something that portrays harmful stereotypes or similar stuff.

honestly wondering what the thoughts of the devs would be on the topic of this character and what they would be like along with the info behind them; i just didn't know what else to submit it as besides the general discussion category, while i am fine with the thoughts of other people regarding how they could be like -- like... how would they face off, what their relations could be etc -- this is mostly aimed for the developers as i would really like a truly stubborn characters that isn't masculine in appearance yet isn't a female either; though just the personality and backstory traits alone could be enough. since all of the characters in dead by daylight, both killers and survivors, even the trapper who consistently fought back are to some extent push-overs, there was never a character that just put their foot down and said "no, i'm not dealing with your #########; this is not up for discussion" , be it towards the entity if a killer or towards both the killer and entity if a survivor
Yeah, I'd be happy with it! To be honest, having a bit more of an enigma around certain characters would be much more interesting. I go along the lines that there has to be some mystery, or at least some things open to interpretation, to make a character realliy interesting. The mind comes up with better dreams and nightmares than anything spoonfed can.
I imagine their perks may be directed towards dire situations; giving a large boost in difficult circumstances. Maybe if everyone is on a last hook he/she/mx gets an extra health state, or if on their last hook they become immune to the exposed status. Basically, resilience in worst-case scenarios.
yeah i think that would fit pretty well; though they rely very heavily on a fight back or defend others confrontation - if they aren't enraged they will only fight in self defense or to defend someone or make justice for them. so their perks may rely more on tanking hits for other survivors without falling down, or towards stunning the killer more than once without the use of flashlights or pallets? those are just random ideas that seem to fit though, i'm not sure if those would be too overpowered or not
they could even have a legendary perk that could allow them to overpower the killer in certain situations through sheer force of will and pushing the very limits of their body; i have no idea
