If I buy a new or used copy of the Nightmare Edition, will I get the Stranger Things DLC?

I've watched a lot of people playing Dead by Daylight on YouTube and am considering buying the game. I read somewhere that the DLC is included on the disc of the Nightmare Edition, so in theory, someone could buy even a used copy and get the Stranger Things DLC, even though it's no longer being sold on digital stores.

But has anyone actually tested this? I would like to know for sure.

And if it does work, why all the fuss about Stranger Things supposedly leaving the game? The Nightmare Edition is still pretty common on Amazon and eBay.
