whats the difference between red gens and yellow gens?

Comments

  • Functionally, they're no different from red gens. They have a different model, however, so that they can fit in smaller (ie. indoor) areas.

  • Are you referring to their auras as killer? If a generator has a yellow aura and you’re the killer, it’s because it is being affected by one of your perks. It could be Discordance, Eruption, and/or Surveillance.

If you mean the actual generator itself, yellow generators are only ever found indoors, and red generators outdoors.

    Edit: Corrected my post.

If you mean the actual generator itself, I believe yellow generators are only ever repairable by one survivor at a time. Red allow for more than one to repair at a time.

The latter is false, actually. It's just about whether a red gen's floodlights would clip through the ceiling. Yellow gens have way shorter lights. The House of Pain has a yellow gen, yet that's always at least a 2-man gen.

    im so confused.

Red gens are gens that arent affected by perk while yellow are affected by a perk like trail of torment and white ones usually are blocked or regressing.
