Boon totems aren't making any sounds when activated

I play on PS4. I've noticed that throughout all of my Killer matches I will walk around and find boon totems that are activated, but not once throughout the entire game did the thunder sound happen. I had a match Where I snuffed out one totem that was re-lit in the exact same spot about 4 times and only found out because I kept walking past it. This is a consistent thing that is happening in every single match. It's bad enough having to deal with a team of CoH users, but now I can't even get notified when they've activated it?
