The change coming this mid chapter will make it reduce the expose status effect, but it won't reduce Ghostface's expose because the expose isn't on a timer as it's tied to the mark bar.
It doesn't work now but it will in the future. In regard to ghost face's power it wont since his marking is what makes you exposed and you cant decrease his mark time.
but i think after marking survivor when te timer of expose is activ it might work on it

It won't. The status effect has no timer on it similar to when Myers is in T3. The condition of the expose is tied to a condition (a survivor marked) similar to hex exposes from devour hope/noed or iri expose addons like Trickster's photocard or Deathslinger's coin.
It might be really useful against Clown's Pinky Finger. I'm excited.
