how does this build look?

hey there,

i recently got back into dead by daylight after i can finally play it without crashing every 5 minutes, and play it with a friend of mine in a duo survivor game. ive fooled around with this build a little, and it feels nice but i got a gut feeling there can be improvements. here goes (i will put what each perk does too, to save some googling):

Deliverance (after performing a safe unhook, it activates and the next time i am hooked i can unhook myself for free. only works on first hook though. im broken (cant heal to healthy) for 60 seconds.) chose this perk to allow myself a free unhook if i need it, if i've unhooked someone else which i will be doing because of the second perk.

aftercare (i see the aura of people i have rescued from a hook, or have rescued me; people i have healed or have healed me. this can affect everyone and resets when i am hooked) this gives information that is pretty much vital to playing solo or duo without comms. i can look around the map and see what my team mates are doing if requirements are met.

Kindred (when someone is hooked, we all see eachother and the killers aura within a 16 metre radius of the hook) this is kindred if i havent healed or helped someone yet. it helps stop unsafe hooks, which in turn also slows down how quick a killer can hook the same person. many a match i was unsafe hooked and immediately on second hook before this perk. finally, we have:

resilience / detectives hunch (resilence gives 9% speed to repairing, unhooking, healing, sabotaging, vaulting, cleansing, opening, and unlocking when injured) means that in a chase, i can jump into a locker quicker, or vault something quicker. if im doing objectives, they go by faster, and therefore more efficiently. the trade off from being one hit from dying is a fair one.

(detectives hunch is when a generator is completed, i see the auras of chests, other generators, and totems within a 64 metre radius. if i have a map, its tracked to it) detectives hunch gives me a hand in finding totems, because doing bones is important, plus it means if i find a map in a chest its not all too bad. plus i can bring a green map and it can act like a red one.

the survivor? my boi JEFF JOHANSEN.

any tips on changing the build if need be? are there other perks that do simmilar thing but better, or have better synergy? apolagies for such a long read, but thanks for making it through! all help in comments is appreciated.

  • Maybe instead of Aftercare you could run Empathy...

Empathy does the same thing but you see other hurt survivors and it doesn't reset after a hook

Deliverance is a bit hard to answer... If you are the first survivor found then forget about actually using Deliverance... But you aren't the first one found then by all means use that (Bad Word)

Kindred is really good (I use it on all Survivors that have it unlocked)

Resilience is good with the combo of Deliverance since you'd be broken getting off the hook and all

Detective's Hunch is good for finding Totems and having a Map is also good (but the range does make it hard to find every Totem on the map... If the Map is big (like Red Forest) Small Game allows you to keep track of how many Totems have been done but it's better to get an aura on them)
