Thinking a bit longer about Re-Skinning Hawkins.
A while back I made this poll:

If the devs were to reskin hawkins to make it into a map for one of the existing original killers, what would you prefer they do with it?
about what you people would like to see if the devs would go and turn Hawkins into a map for one of the original killers (including ghostface).
I've been thinking about it a bit longer, and I think I can break down which possibilities would be best suited, based on the killer (starting with the killers that don't have their own map)
Music Studio (Trickster):
Could make for great visuals, but would be detrimental to his powers. It would require not only a reskinning of the map, but a complete rearrangement of obstacles, loops and the width of corridors. There's some areas great for him and survivors facing him, but overall it'd be a 2/5
Catacombs of Paris (Twins):
Similar to Trickster's approach: Potentially amazing visuals, but at some points countering their power. Not as many as with the Studio, however, and some spots are amazing for them and people facing them. Lotsa of corridors to park Charlotte in, too. 4/5
Talbot's Laboratory (Blight):
For a skilled Blight Hawkins is THE perfect map. Lots of spots to bounce off from, allowing for effective map coverage. A good Blight on this map is frightening. Still enough spots to evade him or have chases with a chance of winning against him. 5/5
Hardware Store (Ghostface):
While at first glance it could work, Ghostface might fare better on a map more akin to The Game in its layout, just a bit more open. The narrower the corridors, the easier it seems to spot and expose him, so while the visuals would be nice (they would easily remind of the meatplant, so they don't get a 'great'), he'd have similar problems as Trickster. 1.5/5
Now for the Killer that have their own maps, so this one only rates the visuals
Hellshire (Deathslinger):
Would look like a mix of Asylum and Midwich, might also need some sizeable restructuring. 2/5
Collapsed Mine (Trapper):
It's a collapsed mine. Could however be made interesting with some moving stuff like abandoned wagons that move on their own and make for additional obstacles. 2/5
Lery's Mortuary (Doctor)
It would be Lery's with the not-locker-lockers from Midwich/RCPD. 1/5
Comments
Hellshire would probably be way more open since it was a pretty big prison.
