Can Stranger Things come back?

I know that they are leaving and they said it will be permanent. However, is there a possibility that some point in the future it could come back?

I don't have much hope for it and I don't know much about licensing so I'd love a Mod or Dev to answer.

Maybe, but this worries me :

Permanently. They definitely didn't make this sound like a temporary thing at all.

There is probably a non-compete clause if they chose to make a game of their own and games these days can hang around forever. I wouldn't think it's likely to return.

It being just a map is kind of odd IMO but who knows what hoops were laid out to get the content to begin with.
