Killers DCing at a certain point forces Survivors to ALT+F4

Description: I loaded into a match and as the game was doing in the loading rotation, it said "Escaped", meaning the killer DC'd. Normally, this pops up with the normal menu, but this time, it didn't. Me and the other Survivors were just stuck in the Killer Shack, unable to move or interact with anything, or pull up a menu. Eventually, everyone left and it was just me, and the game froze and forced me to ALT+F4. The Survs who dc'd before the screen froze lost pips and gained no BPs, whereas I gained 3,000 and kept my pip.
Steps to reproduce: Honestly, I don't know, just dc at a certain time as killer I guess.
How often does this occur: Sometimes it happens, sometimes it doesn't.
