Honestly the game is horrible for newer players

Identifying weak links is a key strategy for Killer. So the game becomes unplayable if you're the newest/lowest rank Survivor in the lobby against a halfway decent Killer.

Beating a weaker Survivor into the ground doesn't help them improve and it doesn't help the Killer improve either.

Rank 9 tunneled, three hooked with a rage quit DC at 4 gens.

Killer couldn't handle any of the stronger Survivors and lost the match despite the early "kill"

NO ONE LEARNS ANYTHING WHEN THE GAME IS PLAYED LIKE THIS. I'm sorry the game is so horrible for newer Survivors like our default adept cheryl.

  • This is why the devs should allow us high ranks to see anyone’s rank who doesn’t belong in high ranks.

I get that many people might be tempted to dodge but on the other hand you have this issue too. I would stay and at least attempt to aid someone who needs to heal and might be newer or take aggro off them.

You can’t do that if you don’t know.

  • I mean the game isn't balanced for good players or for the killer to do well against them, if the killer sees a weak link and makes the most out of it that's not his fault. But the big issue is ranking, he shouldn't really be paired with red ranks and until mmr is added the game will be less fun for all new players, both killer and survivor. Looks like a pretty good match though considering the points all round. But that killer might belong versing that rank 9, but without working ranks hes got too high

  • I would disagree that the newer survivor and killer didn't learn anything. You don't have to win to learn. In my opinion you learn more from losses than you do wins.

But regardless of our opinions of learning, skill based match making should fix this type of issue in theory.
