Flashbang causing my controls to dissapear

I went to go flashbang save my friend on the map "the game" and I had dropped down the hole and was spamming my flashbang but my jill got on top of the flashbang and couldn't move even when it exploded, I could not move, wiggle, recover. I was useless to my team, all I could do was move my camera, I tried alt+tab, win+tab, I tried to go to settings to see if that could fix it but nothing worked until the killer put a different survivor on the hook where I was and it pushed me away from the hook and I was able to move again.
