Zombies and Infectious Fright

So it just popped up on my bloodweb for Nemmy, heres the description:

It doesnt say I have to put them in the dying state, just that they have to go there. I know its 1 in a thousand but if a zombie downs a survivor will that set off infectious?

Yeah, no matter how they die it will trigger. They could die from not mending and it would work.

Didnt have infectious on though. Feels bad.
