Rank progress

During my experience as of lately when I have won a match on the game I lose progress. However, when I lose a match nothing whatsoever happens to my progress. In this night I haven’t played for that long two or so hours at most and I’ve play 6 games. I’ve won three matches and lost 3 progress and went from rank 6 to now a rank 7 on the verge of being an 8. I don’t know why this is happening but it’s very upsetting after working so hard for rank 6.
