"Do as I say, not as I do"

Just curious, so many crying about people that DC in order to derank or just because they go up a doc or stuck on the game map. The devs say they want to promote a non toxic healthy community. Then you turn on twitch and the first thing you see is some of their "Fog Whisperer's" DC'ing because they want to derank or are entitled enough to think they shouldn't have to deal with certain killers or maps because they stream the same game for countless hours each day. As all of the discussions on this site I know it's pointless to even point this out, but I just want to say two things Accountability, and Double-Standards.......that's all. As you were!

  • I havent seen any derankers in fog whisperers
  • Fog Whisperer's are mostly professional streamers that play dozens of hours weekly. They'll probably never get banned because they play so many matches they will never reach the threshold for the ban. It's not a matter of double standards, just of numbers.

There is one that I know of who deranks to keep out of the lobby hell that is the red ranks. They play the  match out to the end before DCing though.

When you derank by DCing in order to keep at a certain rank area, it doesnt matter how much you play. For each game you paly you and pip, you will have to derank again.

DCing makes you loose 3 pips iirc. You just need to DC once every 3-4 matches to be under the ban threshold and not advance in rank.

Proffesional streamers tend to play very well against noob players, so chances are high that you double pip a lot of games. I would say its guaranteed that you get a pip at least. This will force you to DC a less than 40% of your games in order to keep rank and that seems to be enough to avoid the DC bot
