Ranking all the licenses for DBD

S Tier

Stranger Things- Allowed two Survivors in the same Chapter and has consistently approved new cosmetics for their characters (especially Demo since his skins are DBD specific and not tied to Stranger Things lore). Please don't give them hate for the Jonathan skin it's getting fixed and we don't want to scare them away with bad press.

Silent Hill- Cheryl has acceptable cosmetics and Konami let Behavior make multiple legendary skins. Also, Pyramid Head's skins are like Demo and DBD specific, so its nice to see they're willing to have some leniency with their properties. Credit where credit is due Konami gave Cheryl's sweater for free at Christmas when they could've made money. No other paid DLC license has given a cosmetic for free.

Ghost Face- Yeah, it's not the Scream license, but Fun World has been really chill and given Behavior a lot of freedom with the character. His lore is all DBD exclusive and they allow a lot of skins for him. I especially thought it was cool that they are the first and only license so far to hop on the Blighted Cosmetic train for the halloween event.

A Tier

Resident Evil- This Chapter is really strong and looks like a great addition to DBD. The Raccoon City Police Station is extremely faithful to the game and the decision to go with two Survivors as well as picking the more "classic" games was a smart move. It's tentatively ranked lower because we don't know what the long term support from Capcom will look like yet. If they greenlight cosmetics on a regular basis, it will easily become S Tier.

Left 4 Dead- Bill has always been free for everyone and the new skin with the gnome event showed that Behavior is still on good terms with Valve. It's an understated license and a good one. Some people think Bill is an original character because of how long he's been in-game and the fact he's free, which is a testament to how well he works in the game.

Saw- The Gideon Meat Plant looks awesome especially after the update and the characters have decent cosmetic options (even though they deserve more). This is one of the licenses that people expect from a horror game that calls itself "The Hall of Fame of Horror" and its done respectably well.

B Tier

Evil Dead- It's an iconic license and its awesome that Bruce Campbell was willing to be the Voice Actor. Ash doesn't have that many cosmetics and its only a paragraph so its hard to justify a higher tier.

Halloween- The first licensed Chapter has always been a strong selling point for DBD. I wish it had been updated more because a lot of people are turned off from the lack of cosmetic options for Laurie and Myers. I heard that the licensed has been updated and renewed (probably for the graphics update) so hopefully it gets improved in the future.

C Tier

Texas Chainsaw Massacre- I'm sorry Bubba but only one cosmetic and very little support from your license holders doesn't do you justice. There's a 2021 remake coming and I wouldn't be upset if they added some Survivors, a map and some skins to upgrade to a Chapter.

Nightmare on Elm Street- It's sad that this license is tied up in legal issues because it has so much potential. Quentin and Freddy really need some help to catch up with the others in cosmetics. (praying for Speedo Quentin and a facelift to go with it).
