What measures are being taken to ensure the auto-ban system is not going to be abused?
During the anniversary stream just now an auto-ban system was mentioned. It was described as an automated ban that is applied if someone is reported enough times.
The game rules currently say that camping is not against the rules, but some people seem to think it is (based on in-game comments and also forum posts). Another example is Survivors not knowing what BBQ does / how it works and wrongly accusing the killer of using wallhacks.
What is being done to ensure that players aren't getting wrongly banned by the auto-ban system because they were reported for invalid actions (as in: it does not violate the game rules / players mistaking game mechanics for hacking) ?

They mentioned it, but they didn't go into detail. We don't know how it's going to work, much less any oversight systems being implemented.
I get the impression that it's gonna be as big of a F-up as the first test of the SBM/MMR system, which was a colossal failure. Only this time, it's gonna directly result in nobody wanting to play the Killer role, since doing so for a few games, and playing it well, will get you banned.
