The bug of Deathslinger that actually breaks the game

Hello!

Just now I've encountered a bug that broke the game for me: I've stuck on spear which was never broken and was able to pull it across the whole map!

Steps to reproduce:

  1. Hook a survivor through the window. NB: this exact case happened in a shack on the Coldwind farm.
  2. The survivor DCs before the spear chain is broken.
  3. Done! Now the progress of the spear is not moving over time, only upon collision. Then, after the bar fills, you can infinitely pull that chain across the whole map and it will never break.


Please fix it.

    I thought that devs fixed it lol

    This bug has been in the game since Deathslinger release... It happened once with me one year ago.
