They said, now this red add on can injure the surviver but the description said not stay before

    No it doesn't work quite like that, if you injure them they are no longer exposed. When they are one laceration bar away from becoming injured, they are exposed.

    So you do not want to injure them with the knives if you want to down them with your M1. It's why it's not really very good.

    However it does let you avoid the speed boost they get for being injured, so you hit them with all but the last knife, and then you M1 them to down them and skip that speed boost. That's all it does.

    If you injure them with laceration, or if you wait too long that the laceration regresses, the effect stops.
