can someone please explain what this perk does and is it worth a slot I should run quite often??

  • You get a debuffed on healing until you do some skill checks. After that you are an instant heal medkit.

  • When you get to 5 tokens, each skillcheck advances the healing progress bar by 50%. Which is cool, but it takes a lot of healing before you get to 5 stacks, so We’ll Make It or Botany Knowledge are usually more consistent and useful. It is fun when you get lots of stacks on Autodidact, though.

  • Also a reminder that the perk reduces the chances of triggering skill checks by a bit but counters anti-healing perks amazingly well. game example:

  • Autodidact is my favorite healing perk, with Solidarity, Aftercare/Blood Pact/Empathy and Second Wind you can make a very strong healing build
