Reasoning:

As the hexes are thought of as high risk and high reward, I’ve noticed that Huntress Lullaby has no real reward. Any competent survivor can play around Lullaby and this greatly reduces its place as a hex. Along with the lack of consistant value. Lullaby in its core should keep survivors on edge when it’s in play and slow down the game in its own capacity. However, it is either cleansed before its true ability can be used or ignored as the few situations it does work well are easily avoided.

I truly believe that each hex should warrant survivors to search for them or be punished, especially if they build up to great power. So lullaby needs to invoke that feeling. As many can agree, Devour Hope is a great example of this. Thus in my rework, I took inspiration from it and tried to keep the same idea of scaling power to the point where it can become very oppressive if allowed to remain.

In my version, the killer receives the core power of like lullaby at base, no sounds for skill checks. Instant value as many survivors would not expect it at first, giving an instant tell of where a survivor has spawned and which generator they are repairing, allowing for the first chase. With each token gained, lullaby becomes much more of a threat and motivates survivors to seek it out. However, to balance the strength it has in the beginning and the fact it continues growing, I made its natural increased regression from skill checks become something the killer must work for as well.
