Chapter 21: Love & Hate

New Killer: The Yandere

Taiga was driven by hate. A hate that could never be explained, she wanted to hurt those who hurt her. She was the quiet one, never spoke much. She lived with a wealthy family, but took everything she could to prevent being involved with her family, she hated them. She hated everyone, besides one person.

She stalked him for days on end, she made a promise to herself that she would keep him all to herself and take care of him. But that all changed, he was... Taken from her, a deep hatred bloomed inside her. A hatred she always hid away. But they brought it out, she was broken. So she wanted to break them, to hurt them, to kill them. And she went through with her promise. 

She slaughtered the one who took him away from her. She dismembered her, and carved the word '#########' into her chest. Deep inside, she wanted to kill him too. But she tried to fight the urge, she kept telling herself that she loved him. But she went silent, she wasn't going to hold back anymore. She was going to make him suffer for her pain. 

She stared into the mirror, and began to start puking blood. She was disgusted with herself, she had to kill him. He wouldn't want her for what she did. But suddenly a voice showed up in her head, it promised to end her pain, by letting her make others suffer. She accepted in a heartbeat, and went missing the following day. She was never tied to the murder.

Power:

Obsessive Lover: The Yandere wont forget what was taken from her, she will make them suffer for taking everything from her. The Yandere can stalk survivors that are in her line of sight, her power charges up by stalking survivors. When lovers rage activates she will laugh hysterically warning all survivors map wide of her power. During her power she will be under the undetectable status effect for 60 seconds, and all survivors will be under the exposed status effect. When her power deactivates she will let out a loud scream letting the survivors know. Lovers Rage will take 120 seconds to charge fully

Phone Call: The Yandere can call survivors on her phone, when she rings them she will be able to see their aura until they hang up the call. It takes 5 seconds to hang up the call

Hide & Seek: The Yandere can hide inside of lockers. When inside of a locker she will be under the undetectable status effect. She will be able to ambush survivors who are nearby, if she hits them they will lost one health state. When a survivor opens the same locker she is in, she will start laughing and pounce on them putting them in the dying state

Terror Radius:

The Yandere's terror radius is 24 meters, but will start with a low high pitched giggle that will always be heard unless she is in lovers rage. When in a chase she will start laughing hysterically for the remainder of the chase. Her giggle will be heard at 32 meters, heartbeat and music will start at 24 meters.

Perks:

Peekaboo: When a survivor enters a locker they're aura will be revealed to you for 5 seconds, but the survivor will not be alerted until they exit the locker.  "I found you now" - Taiga

Unhealthy Desire: When the obsession finishes a generator you gain a token, you can have a max of 5 tokens. For every token you gain, all survivors besides the obsession gain a -10% action speed for healing and repairing. "I will love and take care of you... I promise" - Taiga

What's Mine Is Mine: When you are stunned by a survivor, they will be under the exposed status effect for 60 seconds. This will have a cooldown of 120 seconds. "I LOVED YOU... THIS IS ALL YOUR FAULT" - Taiga

Add Ons 

Haruto's Diary: When in Lucid Obsession all survivors will be revealed to you for the remainder of your power "I snatched it when he was sleeping... I will never let it go" - Taiga

Sakura's Severed Finger: When in a locker, ambushing a survivor will immediately be put in the dying state "She had it coming... I'll keep it... As a gift for him" - Taiga

Broken Phone Lense: When calling a survivor they can no longer hang up until in a chase with you

Bloodied Bandage: When in Lucid Obsession, you gain a 5% speed bonus 

New Survivor: Haruto Yatogami

Haruto was quieter than most, even though he was pretty popular throughout highschool, he still felt isolated. He worked on a side job every weekend when he wasn't at school, it was at a sushi restaurant about 10 minutes from his house. But, there was a girl who always came to his work. He always felt like he saw her before, but couldn't put his finger on who she was. But she came there every single day, not to eat, but watching him. 

One day when he was walking home from school he got home to find his room broken into, the window was broken. But nothing important was stolen, no money or anything. Just his diary, he never wrote much in besides a few entries here and there. He wasn't too pressed about it either way.

He eventually met a girl named Sakura, he never really saw her as anything more than a friend. But she insisted on being his girlfriend, he was far too anxious to say otherwise. Which would happen to be a big mistake on his part. She was very pushy with him, he wanted to break up with her, but was pretty nervous in doing so.

But the next day, he was going to break up with her. He told her to meet him outside of the school at dawn. He sat there for an hour waiting for her, but she never showed up. He was starting to get worried. So he searched around the school for her, he heard a small struggle in the bathroom and walked in. He saw the same girl from his job stabbing Sakura to death, out of fear he hid. After a while, he blacked out, and woke up at a campfire

Perks:

Open Minded: You remember everything, no matter how insignificant. Every generator that is 50% progress or more will be revealed to you "I didn't know much about her, but I was pretty open minded about her" - Haruto Yatogami

Savior: You protect those around you, and would even sacrifice yourself for them. When you heal a survivor or take protection hit, you and all other survivors gain the endurance status effect for 10 seconds "I wont leave them behind, that's not what I'm about" - Haruto Yatogami

Strong Will: You have a strong will, you'll keep everybody's hope up. When in the killers terror radius, all other survivors gain a 5% bonus to healing and repairing  "This hurts, but it'll be worth it in the end" - Haruto Yatogami
