The hardest Killers to go against as average Survivor

Before I start: I'm a 3.6k hrs player who plays about 2/3 Survivor. Killer mains are Myers, PH and Pig as well as Freddy if I'm tired. The only killers I really don't play are Bubba, Blight and Twins.

This is a Tierlist of the hardest killers to go against for an average survivor. I chose this, so that it covers the most players out there. Some might be better with/against some killers than others (like myself as well), but I can't really consider that. Killers need to be average as well, so they know what they are doing, but they don't know every trick with that killer. f.e. their aim with Deathslinger is allright, but they don't know all the tiny holes you can shoot through.

I also take gaming aspects of that killer, as some perks used by average players as well.

Explanation:

F Tier:

  • Freddy is a Gary Stue, he has extreme map pressure and a fast chase. Perks like BBQ, Pop, Ruin + Undying are nuts on him. This alone makes it really difficult for average survivors to win against him. Spamming Snares all over places does the rest.

S Tier:

  • Spirit's difficulty depends a lot on perks. Stridor, a perk often used by average (or even good) Spirits alone can make counterplay really hard for an average player, even with Iron Will equipped. BBQ and Pop put a lot pressure on as well. Without the Stridor issue, Spirit would be in A.

A Tier:

  • Deathslinger can be hard to play against, because there is no real charging animation like Huntress has. Tapping M2 is often enough to make the survivor go in zig-zag which gives you a free M1. STBFL makes escaping after an M1 attack even harder. Not to mention combined with insta-reload. With a proper aiming animation during wich he can't shoot, he would be in B.
  • Twins can be hard, because they promote slugging and camping. Even with UB or BT this can cause a lot of early deaths or DCs. If the killer player plays nice though and doesn't proxycamp or slug, Twins are in C, since Voctor is OK to dodge.
  • Clown is in A, just because a lot of pallets need to be pre-thrown against him, which is bad in the long run. Maps like Wretched Shop become total dead zones.
  • Doc is more annoying that difficult. Although an average survivor may get problems with the skillchecks when perks like Overcharge, Lullaby or Unnerving Presence are used. He can also find you very easy. Same as Clown, you often need to predrop pallets, which is bad.

B Tier:

  • The average Nurse has tons of counterplay, but is still very capable. A Good Nurse would be easily on S or even up in N.
  • Same as Nurse. Some add-ons are harder and perks like BBQ and Pop give him easy gen regression. But he has lots of counterplay. Solid B.
  • GF's reveal mechanic is meh.... it's like Schödinger's Cat. Overall balanced and fun as well.
  • Oni is a easy to vs killer until he gets his power. And even then you have a lot of counterplay available against an average Oni. Good Onis are a lot harder to vs but stull fun and managable.
  • Bubba is quite straigt forward, but difficulty really depends on add-ons. He only gets annoying if he's (Insidious) camping, but that's another story.
  • Plague would be in D against good Survivors who don't cleanse, but average survivors often give her Corrupt Purge, which makes her a lot more difficult to go against.
  • Hag is usually quite ok to go against unless she got you in the basement. Her hook traps make it sometimes difficult to save and waste time crouching. Add-ons like Rusty Shakles can make her quite hard, but since she needs time to place her traps which gives survivors a lot of time in the beginning. Her power can also be disabled with a flashlight or avoided by crouching. Good hags can be on A.

C Tier:

  • Average Huntress' will often miss hatchets and therefore need to reload often. Also far snipes are quite rare on that level. Only Iri Heads can sometimes kill an average team, if they heal up everytime. If they stay injured, the Huntress has 2 hatches less and handicapped herself with it. Dodging hits is quite easy, but sometimes servers say NO. A good huntress would be easily B or A.
  • Breaking LOS is quite easy on 70% of the maps, Coldwind counters him completely. Myers has great potential to snowball cocky teams or get easy hits if the player doesn't pay attention. Spine Chill and Premonition work during EWI, so he shouldn't be able to sneak up upon you. Just don't feed him and you are fine. He's the Killer with the worst start. Use it!
  • PH was a lot stronger, when he could zone you like Deathslinger with his M2. His ranged attack is quite difficult to aim and an average player will miss it often, making the chase very tideous. The cage can be worse than a hook, if a survivor happens to next to it. Good PHs who read the survivor well would be on B.
  • Demo's attack is well to dodge and his portals don't work that well if you don't place them good enough.
  • Blight is very hard to pick up, so the average player will be quite easy to dodge. Trees or other obsticals are your best friend. A good blight would be on A though!

D Tier:

  • Trapper needs a lot of time to prepare. Average Trappers are quite predictable. Map reworks also shadownerfed Trapper, because the new grass doesn't hide his traps as well as before. Good trappers can be on B.
  • Legion is just.... meh. The Sloppy Butcher, Thana, Ruin/Pop combo can be bad though, IF survivors heal or even worse: SELF CARE! If that happens he's on A.
  • Except you got a bad map like Silent Hill and bad RNG, Pig is just a M1 killer. Jigsaw Sketch/Crate of Gears+Tampered Timer on large maps (or Silent Hill) could mean some headpops though. Players who use her dash often can get her to C.
  • Even with his buff (4.5.0 I haven't played with his new buffs on the PTB) he's very chill to vs. Spine Chill is a hardcounter, although even some average Bing Bongs moonwalk or crabwalk if they notice you got Spine Chill.

What do you say?

Come on man 😂😂 Freddy alone in f tier. When spirit and nurse are sooo much worse. Freddy isn't -that- good and actually has lowsy chase mostly.

I mostly did it for the Meme, and because so many people think he's kinda broken, including me.

An average Freddy can destroy average teams. They will waste time while going for the clock, they get spammed with snares on a loop and go down. BBQ and Pop. Chase next. Repeat.

The average nurse is a lot worse than before her rework where many of them relied on 3 blinks or Omega blink. I meet more average nurses than good ones. Good nurses destroy any teams.

A Spirit has quite straight forward counterplay IF she doesn't have Stridor and if you run Iron Will. Average players will stop running and walking back or crouching somewhere. If you are at a loop that gets more difficult and often is a guessing game, but not impossible. And an average spirit is often not that great with mindgames. That's why she would be in A-S.
