Unless he is facing the opposite position to the locker he will hit you every time
One of 4 things happen
1 you get hit and die
2 you get the stun in between swings and go to a loop or using your perk
3 you timed it perfectly in that case it would of mattered but you stall a m1 hit
4 you mistimed it and got grabbed
