Changes that the Trickster should have gotten
Throwing Knives
- Knives ricochet once at base.
- Survivor's laceration meter will only start ticking down when the survivor isn't running.
- The Trickster isn't slowed down additionally when throwing knives.
- Hitting a survivor with a basic attack will no longer reduce the survivor's laceration meter.
The Main Event
- Power meter will now continuously tick down at a slow rate but can be activated before it becomes full at the cost of a shorter duration.
- When power is active knives ricochet an extra time.
- The Trickster moves at 115% movement speed while power is active.
Add-ons
- Memento Blades - Now shows the trajectory of thrown knives and no longer increases survivor's laceration meter capacity.
- On Target Single + Ripper Brace - Now increases accuracy of knives when rapid firing.
- Waiting For You Watch - Losing a survivor in a chase who has their laceration meter partly-filled and finding them again before it fully depletes will restore their meter to when you lost them.
- Trick Blades - Knives that have ricocheted once will grant 100% more charges towards The Main Event. Knives that have ricocheted twice will grant 300% more charges towards The Main Event.
- Iridescent Photocard - After getting a survivor 1 hit from their laceration meter being filled, they will become exposed and you will again 15% extra movement speed for 20 seconds. Activating The Main Event allows your knives to injure and down survivors.
- Death Throes Compilation - Requires 2 missed knives before laceration bonus is reset.
Once again I'm baffled by how the devs ignore blatantly obvious player feedback. I know they'll never add half the stuff on this list, let alone the basic changes Trickster needs to not be terrible, but I like envisioning an alternate reality where they actually do.

I think the key change is the knives need a smaller spread.
This was literally the exact problem guns had in Deathgarden: Hitting a running target with a massive cone feels awful and it does not matter if you think you need it for 'balance' purposes: it doesn't actually balance the gun if your game is about mobile fights, it just removes skill in a super visible way.
If you NEED too, lower the damage per-knife, but make them more accurate (And I don't this change is necessary either unless the laceration meter doesn't tick down at ALL). Bloom and bullet deviation only make sense for certain kinds of games where you want to reward burst fire, holding positions, ect. If you want to prevent Trickster snipes (And I don't think you actually do...) you can add a little boom, you don't need it to be so big that if your standing in the middle of the exit gates 5 steps back you can hit the pillars.
I don't get what it is with BHVR and wanting automatic weapons to have bloom the size of my fist, but it reminds me of Poacher's comical LMG bloom.
