New chapter theory
Alright so here's my theory
As we all know, DBD changed their Twitter to "Magnum Opus" Now, this leaves a LOT of mystery as to what's waiting in the next chapter, but I think I have cracked the code.
Ladies and Gentlemen, when you take the word "Opus" out of Magnum Opus, what do you get?
You get the name of a hand cannon from the game Halo. This makes sense because Halo was itself a Magnum Opus for its creators.
But let's continue on. What's the first name you think of when you think of the Halo franchise? That's right, Master Chief.
But when you take the first word out of "Master Chief" and you make the remaining word plural, you get the word "Chiefs."
Does that sound familiar? Of course it does, it's the name of the NFL team that lost the super bowl earlier this year!
And who would be their quarterback? Patrick Mahomes. But we aren't done yet.
Because when you take away Patrick Mahomes' last name, what are you left with?
That's right. The new killer is going to be...
Patrick Star.
