PS4 - Game disconnecting me followed by penalties

The game is disconnecting me thru no fault of my own and giving me time penalties and de-pips. Sometimes the game claims its my internet connection despite being in an active party chat while my internet is alive and well. Sometimes its just some other random error message. If I play all day this happens frequent enough that I'm getting extensive penalties. How is this fair? I literally just bought the last 2 DLC's yesterday but can't play today at all due to these penalties. Please prioritize fixing this and stop punishing players who play your game. Smh.
