A Major maintenance patch is needed
We need a patch where BHVR completely redoes their code and builds the game back from the ground up, people aren't satisfied with the game and the code is a major part of all of that.
When an update comes out it comes with a slew of new bugs, and while bugs are a normal part of all games, the amount of them is staggering, and the fact that a minor change to the servers can completely ruin Oni is not a good sign.
If BEhaviour took a few months and redid the code to the game, it wouldn't just help the overall stability, but it would allow them to implement changes and buffs and nerfs where needed, causing players to come back to a more fun, more stable game.
A code overall could also help with Anticheat measures, and making mechanics of the game more fun.
Even if greed motivated, BEhaviour should still do this, as fixing their game would make their playerbase much happier, listening to criticism and implementing changes through a major game overall would make their playerbase feel valued, and happy valued players become happy valued customers when they buy things.
Dead by Daylight is on a decline, not monetarily, but popularity wise, the game is a laughing stock. On this trajectory Dead by Daylight will crash and burn, and BEhaviour will go under as this is their only source of revenue.
A game overall is a necessity to fixing that problem, and fixing some image issues that tarnish the brand and people associated with the game.

they won't and can't do a maintenance only patch as it would kill the game, supposedly anyway.
Won't happen they've basically shut that down after saying they were thinking about it basically money is good and having a whole patch dedicated to something other then content isn't ideal for them... Very Saddening.
