Little trick for the Killer's hook counter
We all know the new hook counter sucks for killers, but lemme tell you a little trick.
If you're smart, you'll focus on 2 survivors because going for 12 hooks takes too long against good teams.
Now, if you're like 98% of the killer population, you'll have BBQ (1% for those that don't have Bubba and 1% for those that want to be different). Use that to keep track of the number of survivors you've hooked while using the proper hook counter to keep track if one is close to death hook.
Sounds easy, doesn't it? Almost like... hiding this info from the killer was pointless and is only an inconvenience.
