Hit Validation Plague

I know this might be weird but... I think after Hit Validation went full-live Plague's Purges somehow got more "phase through people" or "shows infected but isn't". I want to ask: Is this pretty common now or a specific problem?

    This happened before hit validation, its both a problem with servers and hitboxes not matching the actual puke. The puke's hitbox is like a bunch of little dots, which are all connected with a VISUAL line of puke that doesn't have any sort of collision. To be fair though, it's been a long time since I last played Plague so I'm not sure if hit validation makes it even worse.
