Survivors not going down when hit

Can someone tell me if something has changed when it comes to unhooking.

When I hit an injured survivor at the hook after they’ve been unhooked they grunt in pain, but do not go down. There are no perks being used (like borrowed time).

It seems to happen in every game. I let the entire unhooking animation play out but still when I hit them, they do not go down even though they are injured.

    Survivors being unhooked. Is in hit protection 2-3sec. after animation is finished.

    You can only hit survivors. when they moves from the hook.


    it's been like that for years. It's not a bug
