Solved my PS5 problem.
The game not remembering my stuff was because it didn't think I had it even though it was clearly there in game. I had to go to the store. and download the free versions of the chapters and others before the game would remember I have them.
It's kind of stupid. but it's fixed. the only issue now is that the nightmare chapter clearly says free because I already own it, but when I click on it, the store still wants to charge me for it. This isn't a game issue just weird.
so if anyone is having a similar issue. you'll have to download the content from the store again. it should be free.
