This is still happening.
The PS5 version of the game is still forgetting what killer and survivor I have selected outside the original 6. the same goes for daily rituals too. it's quite annoying and I did submit a bug report for it and Nothing.
I know it's not huge priority but I'd like it to get fixed at least at some point
