Is lightborn worth getting from the shrine which is gonna be refreshed in less then 3 hours?

I'm kind of sitting on the fence here. I don't plan on using Billy, so I'm not gonna get the teachable. So is it really worth 2000 shards? I don't get blinded very often, don't use wraith, I know spirit is blinded easily but that's gonna be patched, right? Is there builds that would benefit having lightborn? (I don't plan running tank build like brutal strength with enduring and spirit fury)

    I guess the only worth perks are the ones from DLC which you don't plan to buy.

    Not worth it. Flashlight saves are rare to begin with. There's no special antiflashlight build using Lightborn either. It just makes it impossible to save without two or more flashlighting in sync.
    Franklin's Demise is way better, unless you *really* hate flashlights.

    Nah. Frankie's does much more than Lightborn, against ALL items.
