Free Perks For Everyone!
I would like it if each character had one rank 3 perk for free. This would add much needed variety. This is especially true for survivors. Besides the appearance, there is really no reason to choose one survivor over another since they all have access to the same perks. Preferably the free perk would be one that they can teach. If the player chose to actually use that perk, it could be a "super perk" that can go up to rank 6. For example:
Dwight: Bond - Unlocks potential in one's Aura reading ability. Allies' Auras are revealed to you when they are within 12/24/36 [Dwight only 48/60/infinite] meters.
Meg: Quick & Quiet - You do not make as much noise as others when quickly vaulting over obstacles or hiding in Lockers. The vault and hide actions' noise detection range is reduced by 100 %.
This effect can only be triggered every 30/25/20 [Meg only 15/10/5] seconds.
Claudette: Botony Knowledge - You transform plants found around The Campfire into tinctures that slow down bleeding. Healing speed is increased by 10/15/20 [Claudette only 25/30/35] % and the efficiency of Med-Kits is increased by 10/15/20 [Claudette only 25/30/35] %.
Jake: Calm Spirit - Animals seem to trust you as they often stay calm in your presence. Reduces chances of alerting Crows by 80/90/100 %. Your calm spirit can overcome the urge to scream due to Madness, Intoxication or getting injured by the Killer. [Jake only This effect also applies to allies within 8/16/24 meters of you.]
Nea: Streetwise - Long nights out taught you to do a lot with what you've got. Reduce consumption rate of Item charge by 10/12/15 [Nea only 20/25/30] % for you and allies within 8 [Nea only 16/24/32] meters of range.
David: This is Not Happening - You perform at your best when you are under extreme stress. Great Skill Check success zones when repairing, healing and sabotaging get 10/20/30 [David only 40/50/60]% bigger when you are injured.
Laurie: Sole Survivor - As more of your friends fall to the Killer, you become shrouded in isolation and the Killer's Aura reading abilities towards you are disrupted. Your Aura cannot be read by the Killer within a maximum range of 16/18/20 [Laurie only 22/24/26] meters for each killed or sacrificed Survivor.
Ace: Up the Ante - For each other Survivor still alive, grant a 1/2/3 [Ace only 4/5/6] % bonus to Luck to all remaining Survivors.
Feng: Technician - The noises caused by your repairs and their hearing distance are reduced by 0/4/8 [Feng only 12/16/20] meters. On a failed repair Skill Checks, there is a 30/40/50 [Feng only 60/70/100] % chance the Generator explosion will be prevented.
Quentin: Vigil - You look over your friends even in dire situations. You and your allies within 8 meters of range recover from Exhausted, Hemorrhage, Mangled, Hindered and Blindness Status Effects 10/15/20 [Quentin only 25/30/35] % faster.
Tapp: Stake Out - Getting close to the Killer fills you with determination. For each 15 seconds you are standing within the Killer's Terror Radius and are not in a Chase, you gain a Token up to a maximum of 2/3/4 [Tapp only 5/6/7] Tokens. When Stake Out has at least 1 Token, Good Skill Checks are considered Great Skill Checks and consume 1 Token.
Kate: Dance With Me - When performing a fast vault or leaving a Locker in a sprint, you leave no Scratch Marks for 3 seconds. Dance With Me has a cool-down of 60/50/40 [Kate only 30/20/10] seconds.
Adam: Autodidact - You start the Trial with a -25 % progression penalty for Skill Checks to heal Survivors. For every successful Skill Check completed while healing a Survivor, you receive a Token for a maximum of 3/4/5 [Adam only 6/7/8] Tokens. Each Token grants you a +15 % bonus progression for a successful Skill Check while healing Survivors. Great Skill Checks cannot be performed while using Autodidact. Autodidact is not active when using a Med-Kit to heal.
Killers-
Trapper: Brutal Strength - Your great strength allows you to shred through your prey's defenses. Destroy dropped Pallets and damage Generators 10/15/20 [Trapper only 25/30/35] % faster.
Wraith: Predator - Your acute tracking ability allows you to hone in on disturbances left by running Survivors. Scratch Marks left by Survivors will spawn slightly/moderately/considerably closer together. [Wraith only: Scratch marks will appear much brighter and fade slightly/moderately/considerably over time making it easier to tell which direction survivors are running.]
Hillbilly: Tinkerer - When a Generator is repaired at 85 [Hillbilly only 75/65/55] %, you receive a noise notification and your Terror Radius is reduced to 0 meters for 8/10/12 seconds.
Nurse: Stridor - Breathing of Survivors in pain is 25/50/50 [Nurse only 75/75/100] % louder. Regular Survivor breathing is now also 0/0/25 [Nurse only 25/50/50] % louder.
Huntress: Territorial Imperative - Unlocks potential in one's Aura reading ability. Survivors' Auras are revealed to you for 3 [Huntress only 4/5/6] seconds when they enter the Basement and you are more than 32 [Huntress only 28/24/20] meters away from the Basement entrance. Territorial Imperative can only be triggered once every 60/45/30 [Huntress only 15] seconds.
Shape: Play With Your Food - You become obsessed with one Survivor. Every time you chase your Obsession and let them escape, you receive a Token up to a maximum of 3 Tokens. Each Token increases your Movement Speed by 3/4/5 [Shape only 6/7/8] %. Each offensive action spends one Token. Only one Obsession per trial.
Hag: Hex Thrill of the Hunt - A Hex rooting its power on hope. The false hope of Survivors fills you with excitement and strengthens your totems. For each Dull Totem and Hex Totem remaining on the Map gain a Token. Gain 6/8/10 [Hag only 12/14/16] % more Bloodpoints for actions in the Hunter Category for each Token. Survivors' cleansing speed is reduced by 4/5/6 [Hag only 6.5/7/7.5 ] % for each Token. Gain a notification when someone starts working on a Hex Totem. The Hex effects persist as long as the related Hex Totem is standing.
Cannibal: Knockout - The trauma caused by your brutal attacks makes crying for help painfully difficult. Dying Survivors' Auras are not revealed to other Survivors when they are standing outside of 32/24/16 [Cannibal only 12/8/4] meters of range. [Cannibal only: Reveals dying Survivors' Auras when standing within 4/8/12 meters. Stacks.]
Doctor: Overwhelming Presence - Your presence alone instills great fear. Survivors within your Terror Radius suffer from inefficiency. Affected Survivors' Item consumption rates are increased by 80/90/100 [Doctor only 110/120/130] %.

The Obsession is not affected by Remember Me. Only one Obsession per trial.

After breaking 4/3/2 [Spirit only 1/1/1] Pallet(s), the next time you are stunned by a Pallet, The Entity will instantly break it. You still suffer from the stun effect penalty [Spirit only - but the stun duration is reduced by 25/50/75%. Does not stack].

Also there would be meta survivors most likely Dwight
Meta Dwight? Yes please, as a killer main (not too great, not bad either) I'd love to see more Dwight's. Get those memes flowin'
It would have prevented the kind of strict survivor perk meta that is now later triers. I see self care and at least one if not multiple variations of sprint burst on 90 percent of survivors and when I play survivor I use them.. Because it's just easier if you do, boring for all involved but.. easier.
That wasn't an accident. Those are both special cases. David's perks are Dead Hard, We're Gonna Live Forever, and No Mither. Obviously, forcing No Mither onto all David's is out of the question. Giving David WGLF for free or even a super version also seems kind of insane. That leaves Dead Hard which is kind of a meta perk. I was trying hard to avoid giving Meta perks for free.
So I looked outside of David's teachables into the general pool for a perk that "could" belong to David. Resilience and This is Not Happening were the obvious choices because his perks are built around being injured. Resilience was my initial choice, but when I looked at how powerful it would be as a "super perk", I changed my mind to This is Not Happening. If I absolutely had to pick a teachable perk for David, it would be Dead Hard though.
When you look at the Hag's perks, they are all hex perks. What is more, they generally don't work as super perks. Hex: Third Seal blinds players that you injure and increases to the max number of survivors at rank 3. What would rank 4-6 look like? Hex: Ruin is a meta perk so it's out of the question, but even so it has the same problem. That leaves Devour Hope which is kind of meta, plus it doesn't scale well into ranks 4-6.
So again, I had to look into the general pool of perks that "could" belong to the Hag. Since she is clearly meant to be a hex perk queen, I went with the one generic perk that protects hexes. Anyway, that is the logic behind those decisions.
If I had to make a hag perk that was one of her teachables this is what it would look like:
Hag: Hex Third Seal - A Hex that hinders one's Aura reading ability. Hitting a Survivor while the Hex Totem is active reduces the effectiveness of their Aura reading ability by 100 %. This effect applies to the last 2/3/4 Survivors hit. [Hag only: The last 2/3/4 survivors to be hooked will remain blinded even if the totem is destroyed.]
I can try to make the buffed versions... Just try (now that i think about it):
We're Gonna Live Forever - Your few friends deserve the best protection. Each time you rescue or take a hit to protect a Survivor, gain 25 % stackable bonus to all Bloodpoint gains up to a maximum of 50/75/100 %. (David Only the maximum rises to 150% on only rank 3) Might turn into more farmy perk tho
No Mither - You are affected by the Broken Status Effect for the duration of the Trial. Your thick blood coagulates practically instantly.
(David only You start the game healthy and get broken when hurt)
You don't leave pools of Blood
Grunts of pain caused by injuries are reduced by 0/25/50 % at any time. (David Only 25%/50%/75%)
Grants the ability to fully recover from the Dying State (David only you also recover 5%/7%/10% faster)(this is a maybe)
And with Hag... :
Hex: Devour Hope A Hex rooting its power on hope. The false hope of Survivors ignites your hunger. When a Survivor is rescued from a hook at least 24 (16) metres away, Devour Hope receives a Token.
(only Hag) 4 tokens: Grant the ability to only once regress a generator by 40%... maybe?
5 Tokens: Grants the ability to kill Survivors by your own hand./Grants the ability to kill Survivors by your own hand./Grants the ability to kill Survivors by your own hand.
No Mither is out of the question. That is a perk that you just can not force on players. It should always be optional. I think giving either WGLF or Dead Hard for free is also bad for the over all game health. But if it is absolutely necessary to give him one of his teachable perks, it should be Dead Hard. It's easy enough to scale to rank 6 and since David is so big that it's difficult to hide with him, a free dead hard wouldn't break the game. The problem with this is that he could run 5 crutch perks instead of 4. None the less, this is what it would look like if he had dead hard:
David: Dead Hard - You can take a beating. When injured, tap into your adrenaline bank and dash forward quickly to avoid damage. Press the activate ability button while running to dash forward. During the dash, you avoid damage. Causes Exhaustion for 60/50/40 [David only 35/30/25] seconds.
I don't think a free WGLF would be the end of the world, but the problem would be on how to scale it to rank 6 that isn't completely messed up. I think my original idea is the best frankly, even if it breaks the whole "teachable only" rule.
As a killer, I would be 100% okay with having 4 Dwights in my lobby. I don't even care if they know where each other is at. They can all watch each other standing in lockers =p
