I think both Killer and Survivor understand that Memento was breaking the game. So you can understand why the last adjustment was made.
And I'm sure that both Killer and Survivor understand that the key is also breaking the game. This means that the keys need to be adjusted as well.😀
Hopefully they slide it in incognito like they did the mori nerf.
The issue with the supposed key rework is that they said it's taking time to well, rework them. From the sound of things they're probably adding animations or something that requires more resources.
And I hate to say this but I think Killers would do well to not get their hopes too high for a massive key / hatch nerf unless Behavior can change certain achievements so that one challenge where all 4 Survivors have to escape out the hatch isn't a thing anymore.
Maybe that's why the rework could be taking so long? Maybe they're looking to change achievements to fit the new mechanics they'll be implementing but who knows. It's ALL speculation at this rate.
At the end of the day though keys will still exist and hatch will most likely still exist as an option for the last survivor and killers need to keep their expectations in line with reality.
