Is matchmaking broken again?

So I am in the uk on an xbox x, rank 9 solo and I have been waiting over half an hour for a game..... and that is WITH cross platform on...is it me or is matchmaking broken again. I find it hard to believe that no one has needed a solo in a game for over half an hour.

    It depends on when you play, it takes me up to 15 - 20 minutes to find a match as survivor when playing at night during the week, like from 9:00 pm and above those hours...

    Well its 23.16 here and I usually don't have a problem at all finding matches but tonight nothing
