Stuck in bear trap as survivor at the same time trapper picks it up

I was playing as survivor on mount ormond resort against the trapper and I had stepped on a trap right as the killer picked up the trap, which ended up with me being stuck in the same spot for a couple of minutes before giving me the prompt to struggle out of the trap that was no longer on the ground. Killer could not hit me or pick me up.
