toxicity needs to stop

okay so i've played dbd for a while now i've been around since legion the thing is i deleted dbd not to long ago bacause i wasn't having fun. the reason is toxicity. i dont care about the graphics i want to have fun i hate being looped, t-baged at the exit gates, fashlight stunned while breaking a pallet and then having the process repeated. i know there are ways around this but god its dumb that i have to be toxic to have any kind of fun in this game. i really hope in the future they fix these issues because this is getting out of hand.

  • Dbd is not a fun game. Dbd is a stessful, frustrating, unfair, and addictive game.

Ppl will disagree w me, but the goal of the game is to make ur opponents life miserable as possible.

U have to play the game for what it is. And find enjoyment within the bull**** the game puts u thru.

  • The problem you are going to face is getting people to agree on where the line is for being toxic.

To me, flashlighting during a Killer animation is toxic. Others disagree.

Everyone is going to have a different threshold. I shake my head at survivors and get called toxic for that.

  • THere will be toxicity, Always. No matter what. ALthough that doesn't mean it can't die down a bit. honestly the toxicity in DBD isn't as bad as say Undertale, or League.

  • 'toxicity needs to stop' is the equivalent of saying 'people need to stop dying', it's going to happen no matter what

yah the undertale fandom is toxic sometimes

  • As much as I loved the game and its characters the people were crossing lines they shouldn't have crossed.

  • U hate being looped?? So u want to play against yellow ranks 24/7. How about u get gud before spewing ######### like "oh survivers looped me for too long and I lost the game" yeah t-bagging is toxic but I can easily just not pay attention to it. Rather than waging war in post game chat just spam continue and keep playing. If they tbagg u then tunnel them till they die or dc. Flashlight while destroying a palet is a legit strategy cuz u make the killer blind and can either hide or run and easy his time looking for u.

yah thats why i dont talk to undertale fans

  • you can talk to me I do't tend to think about those fandom subjects but just talk about how good the game was.

    Sad but True

  • Toxicity will never stop. Every game community ever has toxic people, so it'll never just stop.

The things you are describing aren't toxic, though. Looping the killer is how survivors win chases and avoid dying, this is the intended gameplay experience during a chase. Getting flashlight stunned is also the intended use case for the flashlight, what do you expect them to do with it?

Crouch-spamming at the gate is whatever. Assume that they're just dumb clueless 17-year-olds, people will always find some way to taunt each other in competitive games. It's such a low-effort thing that it's just not worth getting upset about.
