Reverse Bear Trap changes

  • RBT's are now activated upon being restored to injured/healthy from the dying/hooked states, rather than upon the completion of a generator.
  • The Pig no longer needs to manually place RBT's. If a survivor does not have an RBT and they are put into the dying state, one will be automatically applied.
    • This is primarily to free up the M2 hotkey. It's a buff in some ways (saves 3 seconds) and a nerf in others (can't pull bodies out from under pallets).
  • Finding the key in a Jigsaw Box will no longer remove your RBT, only deactivating it.
    • If a survivor's RBT is reactivated, its timer will resume where it left off.
  • The Pig no longer has a limited number of RBT's
    • You can't remove them anyways on this version, so this would be a pointless feature.
  • Increased death timer from 2:30 to 3:30

The balance target for this is for RBT's to have a fairly high chance of killing somebody, but not on the first down.

With this version, the target is to have basically a 100% chance of deactivating your trap after your first hook, and you've got roughly a 50/50 shot of dying between your second and third hooks.

crouch Changes

  • The Pig's crouch now functions exactly the same as The Ghost Face's crouch
    • Stealth is not linked to Crouch, crouching simply lowers your profile
    • Crouching applies a 0.857 multiplier to your movement speed.
      • If you aren't in Ambush, crouch walk at 98% speed
      • If you are in Ambush, crouch walk at 90% speed
    • Crouch/uncrouch time decreased from 1.3 seconds to 0.1 seconds
    • Crouching alone does not enable you to dash (requires you to toggle Ambush on)
    • You may basic attack while crouched
  • While crouched, foliage within 6 meters is now translucent.

Ambush (Stealth) Changes

  • Press M2 to toggle Ambush (no cast time). While active:
    • Your basic attack is replaced by Dash
    • Gain the Undetectable status
    • Set your base movement speed to 105%
  • After leaving Ambush by Dashing, being stunned, picking up a survivor, or toggling it off, Ambush goes on a 10 second CD.

Dash (attack) Changes

  • Dash movement speed increased from 6.9 m/s to 9.2 m/s
  • Dash duration reduced from 2 seconds to 1.5 seconds.

Common

  • Workshop Grease
    • Reworked,
    • Increases death timer by 75 seconds
    • Once per trial per survivor, if a generator is completed while their reverse bear trap is inactive, the trap will activate.

This version of the add-on trades the lethality of an RBT for increased game slow

  • John's Medical File
    • Effect reduced from 50% to 25%

This is because with the requirement to spend time in a crouch removed, Dash is much more applicable in chases, so a 50% reduction is kinda nuts.

  • Combat Straps
    • Reworked: Increase Ambush movement speed to 107.5%

Crouch time isn't an applicable stat in this version

Uncommon

  • Video tape
    • Dash charge time modifier decreased from 50% to 25%

    • Now specifies active RBT's
  • Razor Wires
    • Reworked.
    • Increases death timer by 75 seconds
    • Once per trial per survivor, if a generator is completed while their reverse bear trap is active, their "key" will be shuffled to a random Jigsaw box.

Similar to Workshop Grease

    • Increases death timer by 75 seconds
    • Once pet trial per survivor, landing an Ambush on a survivor with an inactive RBT will activate the RBT

Effect had to be replaced; RBT count is no longer a stat that exists.

Rare

  • Interlocking Razor
    • Increases death timer by 45 seconds
    • If a survivor stops working on a Jigsaw box before the search is complete, their key will be shuffled to a random Jigsaw box.
  • Bag of Gears
    • No longer increases setting speed (irrelevant)

Very Rare

  • Tampered Timer
    • Once per trial per survivor, when a RBT is reactivated, it will instantly progress by 30 seconds.
  • Crate of Gears
    • No longer increases setting speed (irrelevant)

Ultra Rare

  • Rules Set No. 2
    • Reworked.
    • Reduces death timer by 1:30
    • Finding your key will remove your RBT
      • If you get another RBT, the timer will start fresh
  • Amanda's Letter
    • No longer modifies your Jigsaw Box count
    • No longer modifies your RBT count (there is no longer such a thing)
    • Now specifies that you must be crouched and in Ambush
