Freddy getting nerfed?

I've seen several people talking about how it is confirmed that Freddy is getting another rework, and that it will be a hefty nerf to his ability.

Now, when I think of him getting nerfed I instantly get flashbacks of when he was an absolute joke 2 years ago.

His old base kit was absolute garbage and pulling survivors into dreams took 5-7 seconds, which by the time they were asleep they would have already sprint bursted away to a safe pallet or vaulted a window and gained distance.

I'm hoping the same doesn't happen now, and if this ''upcoming nerf'' is fake I'd like to know in the comments, as well as other peoples opinions on this.
