Ranking Twins' add-ons
S tier
None
Nothing is overpowered.
A Tier
- Toy Sword
- -25% pounce charge time
An absolute godsend. Allows you to pounce at tiles where it would otherwise be impossible.
- Silencing Cloth
- Retain the undetectable status for 12 seconds after returning to Charlotte
If you hide Charlotte a little bit, you can go for some really strong stealth plays if you can make solid guesses about when survivors are returning to Charlotte's location.
- Bloody Black Hood
- -0.5 seconds to Charlotte's "wake up" time.
Waking up feels awful. It's still bad with this, but it helps some.
- Stale Biscuit
- -0.5 seconds Pounce CD
This means the survivors have half a second less to crush you after you pounce, which is great. If they try to get cheeky and kick the baby, you'll recover just a little bit too quickly for them and likely get a pounce on them.
B Tier
- Ceremonial Candelabra
- It takes an additional 0.15 seconds to crush Victor.
This takes the animation from 0.35 seconds to 0.5.
If Victor is idle it doesn't really matter, but there are three situations where it's important.
If they foolishly crush a latched Victor in chase, they will be immobilized by that animation for an additional 0.15 seconds.
If you use Victor to bodyblock a Loop, kicking him will buy you an additional 0.15 seconds.
If you miss a pounce, the kick animation takes another 0.15 seconds, meaning they're ever so slightly more likely to get their kick animation cancelled by Victor becoming invulnerable again (combos well with the Biscuit).
- Victor's Soldier
- Kicking an idle Victor reveals your aura to Charlotte for 6 seconds.
Solid information, but infrequent and random.
- Forest Stew, Madeleine's Scarf
- Increases Victor's movement speed by 0.4/0.6 m/s
Certainly powerful, but not necessarily the most relevant stat. Victor is already fast, and since he can't M1 more movement speed isn't really what you need to land hits; I'd rather have a sword
C tier
- Iridescent Pendant
- Crushing an idle Victor inflicts the Exposed status for 12 seconds
To get value out of this, bodyblock a pallet with Victor. The survivor will have to kick Victor to access the pallet, resulting in their immediate death. In this case, combos nicely with the Candelabra.
It also punishes people who cheekily kick Victor in your face. In that case, combos nicely with the Soldier.
Unfortunately, the duration is too short for you to capitalize in other circumstances, and once they know about it, it's a lot less useful.
- Spinning Top
- Pounces cause survivors to drop items.
Situational at best. Would have Hoarder synergy if that perk did anything.
- Drop of Perfume
- Survivors who can hear Victor's shrieks are Oblivious
You're more likely to give away Victor's presence early than you are to hide Charlotte's presence.
It's not super easy to immediately hear Victor, but the "Oblivious" icon is instantly apparent.
- Tiny Fingernail
- -0.5 seconds Victor deployment time
It's really quite nice, but it's kinda like running cloak add-ons on Wraith; it's already fast, and not super relevant, so what's the point?
- Weighty Rattle
- Survivors who remove Victor remain broken for 20 seconds
Keeping people injured is powerful for Twins, since it further enables snowballing through Victor.
This kinda helps you do that, but it's such a short effect that it doesn't do a lot. Also, since this requires you to latch Victor onto people to get value, you're liable to get him Kidnapped for 45 seconds, which is awful.
- Soured Milk, Madeleine's Glove
- Increases shriek radius by 2/4 meters
Makes your detection a little bit better. Not awful, but not super noticeable.
D Tier
- Sewer Sludge
- +2 seconds to remove a latched Victor
From 8 to 10 seconds... wow, so great. This also increases the minimum time it takes you to get Victor back by two seconds, so even as a game slow you're probably losing more time through lessened chase potential than you get from this bonus.
- Rusted Needle/Baby Teeth
- Removing Victor applies blindness/hemorrhage for 20 seconds/until healed.
Why do they keep adding these? MAYBE the Blindness would be OK as an OoO counter, since being perma Oblivious with OoO is disgusting, but it isn't even applied until after they remove Victor...
- Cats Eye
- Silences your shrieks when Pounce is fully charged
I guess you can ambush with this... but why? That's such a waste of time.
- Cat Figurine
- Displays the target location of a Pounce
Learning add-on. At least it isn't a speed limiter.
F Tier
None
Nothing is outright detrimental.
