It's your fault this happened, and you should act like adults and take responsibility for this poor excuse of a DLC. Apologies, sincerely on the next dev stream.

Fix the DLC. and shift devolvement resources to improving game health. Developing new content for the game is probably harder than fixing problems with what you've already made. 

As you are a corporation, I'll explain it in a way that you may understand better. Players who dislike games don't play them; if they don't play them, they don't buy products for said games.

Goodwill with players can do a lot for a game, and fostering it is not very difficult.
